Dear friends,

We are very happy to announce the arrival in Singapore of another exciting couple: Lucia Barrios and Alvaro Salas (http://www.luciayalvaro.com/menu_ing.html). Based in Japan in recent years, Lucia and Alvaro have for many years taught and inspired Tango dancers in Japan, Korea, Taipei and Hong Kong as well as many other cities in Europe. While Janet and I have not had the chance to learn from them before, Lucia and Alvaro have come highly recommended from friends in Hong Kong and Taipei. Don't miss the chance to study with them during their short stay!

*** Note that because of the upcoming workshop, the milonga on October 13 will commence at 9.30pm instead. ***

"As promised, we have arranged for another couple of Argentine Tango Stars, Lucia Barrios and Alvaro Salas to take over the workshops and private lessons that were originally scheduled to be taught by Laila and Leandro.

We are now very pleased to announce that we have arranged for Lucia and Alvaro to be in Singapore from Tuesday, October 13 to Sunday, October 18 2009 to conduct workshops, private lessons and give a Spectacular Show Performance at 10pm on Sunday, October 18 @ Azuccar.

Lucia and Alvaro are yet again a couple not to be missed. Their flair in Tango is evident and they embody the principle of 'Embrace Above Everything'. We hope that our Tangueros in Singapore will take advantage of their presence here in attending workshops and privates conducted by the Stars."

Group Class Schedule: S$30 per workshop or package of all 6 workshops for S$150.

October 13 (Tuesday)
8.00pm - 9.30pm Complex sequences in close embrace ("Embrace above everything")

October 15 (Thursday)
8.00pm - 9.30pm Movement combinations for dancing in milonga

October 17 (Saturday)
12.00pm - 1.30pm Control and physical techniques (Men's and ladies' techniques)
2.00pm - 3.30pm Movements with changes in energy

October 18 (Sunday)
12.00pm - 1.30pm Art of improvisation
2.00pm - 3.30pm Tango milonguero
