Dear friends,

This is a quick announcement to inform you that, starting this week, Xen Bar will be holding a weekly practica every Friday.

Date/time: Every Friday night, 8.30pm - midnight Cover charge: $8 (includes 1 drink) - payable at the entrance

For the benefit of new-comers to the tango community, a practica is the place for consolidating what you have learnt, either from classes from local teachers, or from workshops by visiting teachers or at a festival. Unlike a traditional milonga, it is permissible (and even encouraged) to stop in the middle of a dance to discuss and share ideas. Some of the senior dancers like myself and Janet will be present and will try to help with problems you may have while we carry out our own practice. However, in order to make effective use of the session, it is highly recommended that you come with some specific goals in mind. In the meantime, the Tuesday milonga will continue as usual.
